• Event Name: 24th Annual Beaufort County Youth Conference (BCYC)
• Description of Event: The BCYC was organized in 1992 by Carrie B. Major to arm our Youth with information needed to make healthy choices and to motivate them to become successful in school and as adult. This is a conference for middle and high school students. This youth conference is planned by youth from the middle and high schools in Beaufort County. The Plans are then executed by the Beaufort County Youth Conference Steering Committee that is made up professionals from area Community Organizations. This year’s theme is, “Believe in Yourself….Or No One Will”.
There will be workshops: Workshop #1- “Why Do We Treat Each Other With Such Disregard & Disrespect”, Workshop #2- “Violence—All Lives Matter”, Workshop #3- “Social Media—The Good, The Bad & The Ugly”. All workshops will be facilitated by:

There will be Lunch served, Door Prizes and T-Shirts for all students that attend!
Because of donations from Community Churches, Organizations and Community Members,
we can offer this Conference free and at no cost to “ALL” Middle and High School Students in the County,
however we are still seeking donations to offset expenses. We’d like to thank all of the Churches that sent in Donations
as well as all of the Community Members who sent in a donation.
