When I returned to live full-time in Beaufort more than twenty years ago, one of the first calls I received was from Jim Neighbors who was the President of the Savings Bank of Beaufort. 23 Nov Young Leaders Explore the Maritime Center

This month Young Leaders of Beaufort, a leadership group consisting of 7th and 8th graders, ventured to the Port Royal Sound Foundation's Maritime Center to explore our special waterways. The students learned from presenters Chris Marsh of Spring Island and Maritime Center naturalist Mr. Chris on our unique waters and sea life as well as Paul Spencer of the YMCA on boating safety.
