The election of Nan Brown Sutton and the re-election of Mayor Pro Tem Mike McFee bring continuity and creativity to City Council and the City Redevelopment Commission on which Council members serve along with non elected officials.
Both have a great love for our special hometown. Both celebrate civility. Both are consensus builders which is important for a well functioning City Council.
I am expecting a very productive 2017 on Beaufort City Council. Thank you voters for selecting the best of the three very competent and qualified candidates.
