Fripp Audubon Weighs in on Seismic Testing and Offshore Oil Exploration

Audubon Clubs across the state are writing letters to the White House regarding the issue of off shore drilling and gas leasing on the Atlantic coast. Attached is Fripp Island Audubon’s letter to the White House.  This is of vital importance to our coastal waters, barrier islands and marsh habitats which are critical in providing the foundation for Beaufort and South Carolina’s very large and important seafood industry.
