No such think as “temporary storage” of nuclear waste

16 May No such think as “temporary storage” of nuclear waste

Since my law suit against the US Department of Energy in the early 1990’s, I have argued that there is no such think as “temporary storage of nuclear waste”.  It is taken to the place of least resistance where it stays because no one else wants it.

The once important and productive Savannah River served our country well by making and perfecting development of nuclear weapons grade materials.   Since then, when the need lessened, it has become a repository for waste with no other place for it to go.

This is not acceptable. Fortunately state leaders are now fighting it so lets get behind them.

Don’t let SRS serve as nuclear dump site
