Second Summit by Webinar

14 Mar Second Summit by Webinar

Last fall I participated in a Rising Tides Conference, along with Mayors and Legislators from the west to east coasts.  You may noted that 24 Mayors from Florida asked CNN to ask candidates in the Florida primaries what they would do about rising sea levels.

The week after next I have been asked to participate in a webinar with those who attended the initial conference along with others who have since become interested.

This webinar will include presentations from high-level federal officials from NOAA, FEMA, and the USACE that cover updates based on the topics of interest you expressed in New Hampshire. Similar to the Rising Tides Summit, there will be an extended period of time for Q & A following the presentations.

Stay turned for my report on the webinar.

Federal officials confirmed for the Rising Tides webinar:

Larry Cocchieri (USACE – Deputy Director for National Planning Center for Coastal Storm Risk Management)
