While his predecessor took the Industry position to support seismic testing it is refreshing to see that our new Governor, with a strong record on conservation, is speaking his mind on Seismic Testing. Thank you Governor McMaster.

Gov. McMaster visits Beaufort County

Gov. Henry McMaster paid a visit to Beaufort County on Wednesday to talk business.
McMaster was the speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce. . . .
Mare Deckard of Cast Away Fishing Charters asked McMaster about proposed seismic testing for oil off the South Carolina coast.
Deckard was relieved by the governor’s answer.
“I’m against it,” McMaster said.
The Trump administration recently made a move toward allowing the testing to search for oil and natural gas. The public has until July 6 to comment at itp.laws.noaa.gov.
