It appears that after months of resurfacing, the main runway is open. This means that in most cases, MCAS jets will not be flying over Pigeon Point, the Point and the downtown area. This clearly provides some relief for Beaufort but not for those on the northern end of Ladys Island and around Habersham.
I believe we should continue to press our congressional delegation to push for an Outlying Field.
