Growing up in Beaufort, we had two outdoor movie theaters. The first was on Highway 21, perhaps a quarter mile west of Kmart Center. And the other was on Ribaut Road where the Piggly Wiggly shopping center was located. At the theater on the 21 they also had a small race track where young people could ride motorized cars around the track. At the Ribaut Road theater there was a putt putt golf course and trampolines. Gosh, there was a lot to do in Beaufort in those days!
The good news is we have a two-screen drive in today. You may want to try it. Its fun!
