Boundary Street Project Update Tuesday, September 13, 2021

Weekly Update: 9/12 thru 9/18
Current Activity / Location:
- Duct bank installation – SC170
- Storm Drainage – SC170
- Driveways, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalks – Right Side Boundary Street and new SC170 alignment
- Signal Installations – Hogarth Street, Ribaut Road, Marsh Road and Beaufort Town Center
- Utilities working on relocating lines along right and left side of Boundary Street
Two Week Look Ahead:
- Duct Bank Installation – SC170 & First Street
- Storm Drainage – SC170 & First Street
- Driveways, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalks – Right Side Boundary Street and SC170
- Retaining Wall – SC170
- Timber Boardwalk – Boundary Street between Applebee’s and United Way
- Asphalt - Contractor is tentatively scheduled September 26th thru the 30th to perform paving along the right side of Boundary Street in preparation for the next traffic shift.
- Signal Mast Arm Installation – Ribaut Road, Marsh Road and Beaufort Town Center
- Utilities working on relocating lines along right and left side of Boundary Street
Expected Nighttime Work: Timber Boardwalk construction may require a lane closure which will be performed at night.
Weekend Work: No weekend work scheduled at this time
Traffic Shifts:
- Traffic control is continuously being monitored and adjusted as needed while the shift is in place.
- A new traffic shift is scheduled at the end of September. See ‘Special Notes’ for more details.

- Contractor is planning to shift traffic on Boundary Street from the North to the South to provide room for construction on North side of roadway. Lane shift is tentatively scheduled for September 30th. Additional details will be forthcoming.
