Beaufort, SC: Save the DATES for exciting Beaufort County Historical Society events.

May 18th, 2017—noon-78th Annual Meeting and elections -Dr. Brent Morris- Yes Lord, I know the Road- at Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club and at 11:30 optional Debbi Covington $10 catered lunch, RSVP no later than 4 pm Monday, May 15th.

The nominating committee respectfully submits for the 2017-2019 slate of officers: Mae Mendoza,President; Lillian Haist, Vice President; Donna Alley, Secretary; Harry Chikades, Treasurer; Linda Hoffman, Research Secretary.

June 22nd, 2017-11 am BCHS partners with Beaufort District Collection-Cate Lineberry Be Free or Die-Robert Smalls Author Book Talk, Sale, and Signing in Beaufort Branch, Beaufort County Library, 311 Scotts St.
3 PM Beaufort County Library Bluffton Branch

June 28th, 2017-2 pm BCHS partners with Beaufort District Collection-Doug Bostick, Executive Director of the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust, Carolina Day “South Carolina Liberty Trail” Beaufort Branch, Beaufort County Library 311 Scotts St.

June 28- July 4th - Liberty Week- (details to follow-14 confirmed partners)
