‘All Lives Matter’: Beaufort group works to engage community

25 Jul ‘All Lives Matter’: Beaufort group works to engage community

Beaufort is a very special place and I have great admiration about the way our community comes together. Last week, first at the Washington Street Park community cook out and the at the Water Festival’s MoTown Monday in the Waterfront Park, I saw the best of Beaufort.

Last Sunday, two smart and caring women showed what can be done to bring people together. It does not end there as this is just the beginning of ensuring our community continues to celebrate our diversity and compassion while working together to make it an even better (and safer place to live).

And at MoTown Monday, I saw perhaps the most diverse participation ever in the Water Festival as a rainbow of faces enjoyed a night out on the town with, according to the police department, NO INCIDENTS.

Please help continue to make Beaufort a safe and caring place to live.
