We are happy to announce our Character Education Student(s) of the Month for February (character trait-Honesty) below! The students were selected based on nominations from each of our schools. Each nominee’s information was vetted by a panel and the finalists are named below. With the assistance of the municipalities, we are able to recognize additionally three students based on where their school is clustered!

We will recognize district winners (Ben and Ryan) at our regularly scheduled BOE meeting. The students and their families will be attending the BOE meeting closet to their home, beginning at 6 pm. Principals, please assist us in getting this information to the families.

Mayors Sulka and Keyserling will announce the two winners at their regularly scheduled town/council meetings and can get the student/parent contact information by contacting KeKe or Carizma.

Mayor Bennett from the Town of Hilton Head will announce winners quarterly, beginning in April where Carlos Hernandez will be recognized during their regularly scheduled town council meeting.

We are excited about recognizing these students and look forward to having students across the district recognized each month again for exhibiting character traits that we all agree as being essential to success.

Thank you and please continue to nominate and submit your student names each month based on the character trait of the month.
