Since the sad passing of Beaufort’s special friend Pat Conroy, “a renowned southern literary giant and story teller,” family members and friends are working to establish The Pat Conroy Literary Center in downtown Beaufort.

To make the center what it can and must be —  to extend Pat’s legacy as writer, storyteller and mentor —  its leadership,  including but not limited to author John Grisham, Barbara Streisand, agent Marly Rusoff and Pat’s wife, writer Cassandra King Conroy need your help.
