The Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation has just become Preservation South Carolina. Through their able Director Michael Bedenbaugh they have helped local individuals and organizations save important structures in Beaufort and are now working on an exciting initiative on Daufuskie Island. Thanks Mike and crew for your good work not the least was advocacy for the Reconstruction Era Monuments in Beaufort County.
