Knitting Club, Line Dancing, and Adult Summer Reading at the Hilton Head Branch Library
Event Name: Exercise Your Mind: Adult Summer Reading Program
Short Description of the Event: Visitors to the Hilton Head Branch will have a variety of ways to Exercise Your Mind and win prizes while doing so. Weekly trivia, book reviews, and event attendance all garner entries into the drawing, held at the finale. Our prize donors are Whole Foods Market, Core Pilates, and Powerhouse Gym.

Event Name: Meditation Mondays
Short Description of the Event: Meditation is a great way to promote wellbeing by grounding oneself to feel more focused in today’s fast-paced world. And group meditation is a great way to get support and develop a routine for a brand new, spotty, or long-time practice. The group will start with a brief introduction before sitting in meditation for a period of time flexible based on feedback (15-30 minutes). Soft chairs are available; to sit cross-legged, please bring a cushion. Any- and everyone is welcome.

Event Name: A Tale of Two Needles
Short Description of the Event: Join the new Hilton Head knitting group to share, learn, and make both friends and projects! Bring your current project or come look through our knitting books at either of our meeting times. The group meets twice a month, once in the evening and once in the morning, to accommodate everyone’s schedule: the 2nd Thursday at 6pm and the 4th Tuesday at 10am.

Short Description of the Event: Get in shape with this musical social. Lynn Bryant will be the caller for urban line dancing, featuring R&B, jazz, and hip hop music. Ms. Bryant has always loved to dance and is a former drum majorette and alumna from St. Helena High School.
