If you have been to the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park lately you may have noticed that the plaque attached to the Thomas Heyward monument was missing. Unfortunately someone took it down. Fortunately it was found in the bushes by City staff, is currently being cleaned up to be rehung in its place.
I ask all to show respect for our forebears, for our grand park and for each other. Thanks.
