Water Please!

06 Oct Water Please!

Though we all got a little wet over the past few days, I am grateful that we did not suffer like our neighbors from Charleston, Sumter, Columbia and in between have been and are still struggling.
The towns of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island have teamed up with their real estate community to send water to families who do not have what we take for granted - clean water to drink.
Please join the Beaufort County Association of Realtors in doing the same.  Bottles of water can be dropped off at the Realtors office at 22 Kemmerlin Lane on Ladys Island (Behind BB&T). You can find a map and instructions at beaufortscrealtors.com or call (843) 525-6435.

Today, our neighbors extend to the edges of our state. We must do what we can to ease this situation for those who received the brunt of this storm. We are well aware with a slight turn of the system; it could have been us needing help.” Mayor Lisa Sulka, Bluffton[/dropshadowbox]

Thanks to all for what you are able to do. Perhaps I will see you at the Board of Realtors when I take a case of water to be sent where it is needed.
And thanks to the Beaufort County Board of Realtors for taking the lead and coordinating this effort.
