15 Nov YLOB participate in Riverview’s Empty Bowls Project

Last week the Young Leaders of Beaufort, a group of 7th and 8th graders, and Mayor Billy joined Riverview Charter School students in an international grassroots effort to raise money and awareness - The Empty Bowls Project. Together, students teamed up with Stop Hunger Now and packaged 40,000 meals to feed hungry children in Haiti!
YLOB meet monthly to learn about civic engagement, leadership and team building.
